We took a walk to the far west end of Torremolinos, crossed over the rocks you can see in the photo and found this awesome little town filled with block after block of pedestrian arcades filled with funky shops, mom & pop restaurants, and reasonably priced stores all along the sea. It seemed newer and cleaner than Torremolinos!

A Day in Salamanca

We chaperoned a day trip here, about 2.5 hours NW of Madrid. It was sunny but FREEZING!

Viva Colombia!

Ingrid spent 2 weeks in Colombia back in January, 1 in Bogota and the other in tropical Periera. She spent time with her Uncle Chichipato, Aunt Pilar, primis Sylvana & Mateo (aka Piggy) and her best friend from high school Monica and her family. Here are some photos....more to come. New Year's Eve

One of my former students, Marco from Miami, whom we had not seen since 1997, came to visit us from Koln, Germany, with his girl-friend Diana, for New Year's Eve.

We had a great holiday reunion!
